PSN Name Change Became Reality

Sony officially confirmed that PSN online ID change feature is coming. Selected users who have registered “previous PS4 system software betas” will get access to the PSN Online ID Change feature at first, as beta test, and full rollout for all PS4 users are planned for early 2019.

The first ID change will be free, but it will cost $9.99 after that. For PlayStation Plus members, it will cost $4.99 after the first change.

Microsoft Announced Xbox Cloud Streaming Service

Project xCloud is Microsoft‘s new streaming technology which will allow players to play their Xbox games on mobile devices. The service currently supports 4G/5G cellular networks as connection and Xbox Wireless Controller and customized touch input as control input.

Project xCloud will enter public beta in 2019.

Red Dead Online Announced

Rockstar Games announced online mode for Red Dead Redemption 2. Red Dead Online will blend narrative with competitive and cooperative gameplay like classic multiplayer experience in the original Red Dead Redemption, but in fun new ways.

Red Dead Online will be free for Red Dead Redemption 2 owners in both PS4 and Xbox One. The base game will release in October 26, Online is planned for launch in November 2018.

Steam Chat Got Discord-Like Beta Update

Steam recently released “The All-New Steam Chat” beta update.

The update features friends list with more information, group chat with text/voice channels, sending videos and GIFs through chat, quality and security enhanced voice chat, and more.
